3 Places to Find Inexpensive Book!

1. I would first check out your local thrift store for inexpensive books. A lot of times thrift shops have a couple of shelves full of books! Children's books can be around $.50 an adult chapter can be a buck or two. The only drawback I have found is the books are not well organized, so you will have to search for things that you were looking for or may be interested in. There are no guarantees for what you find, which is also part of the fun of it.

2. The second place I would look for inexpensive books is a used bookstore. These books will price a little more than run-of-the-mill thrift stores, but the books are generally better organized making it a better shopping experience. My favorite secondhand bookstore is Hideaway Books. They have two store locations ( for my Utah county friends). They also have a large online selection, and they offer free shipping for orders over $25, which is 😍!

3. The last place I like to look for inexpensive books is your local library. A lot of libraries have a used book section where you could purchase used library books. I have also seen them hold an annual book sale. Once again, these books generally won’t be super well organized, but you can find a good deal! You also get to support our local library, which is a win-win.
