Alma and How She Got Her Name by: Juana Martinez-Neal

I love this book! Alma has this beautiful long name. Her father shares with her the history of how she got her name. All the ancestors that she is named after and how she shares some of their characteristics. I enjoyed how the book connects children with those that came before us and how they still impact us today.
